RICC, Torquay to host 2010 UKIP Annual Conference

The UK Independence Party (UKIP) will be kicking off the party political 2010 conference season with their annual event being held at the Riviera International Conference Centre (RICC), Torquay on 2-4 September.

This conference, previously held in Southport in 2009, hopes to attract approximately 700 delegates over a 3 day period that will include conference sessions, social events and dinners and is a great boast to the English Riviera.

David Challice, UKIP's Administration Manager, who has been spearheading the preparations for this event said: "We are absolutely delighted to be bringing our annual conference to Torquay. The Riviera International Conference Centre is perfect for all our conference and media needs and there is plenty of local accommodation close to the Centre that can accommodate all our delegates, visitors and media."

The UK independence party headquarters is located in Newton Abbot, Devon, and is Britain's fourth largest political party.

Barry Cole, MD, Riviera International Conference Centre looks forward to the benefits that inevitably accompany high profile events such as this: "Winning the UKIP 2010 Annual Conference is great news and is a welcome addition to the Riviera International Conference Centre 2010 calendar.
No doubt, as a result of the imminent elections, the focus on UKIP will be even greater in September benefiting both UKIP and the English Riviera.
